Academy of Sciences

Lauren came and visited me over President's Day weekend. Santa Claus got us tickets to go to the somewhat recently renovated Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. This is the amazing, natural, climate-saving, miracle-working roof.

Band Night

Last night we went to watch the youth play in the All Pacifica Band Concert at Terra Nova High School. I'll be honest. I was expecting uncomfortable seats, a drawn-out program, and out of tune music. I was SO wrong.

The Ron Schneider Music Foundation funds all the music programs in Pacifica, saving them from cuts and promising great programs. Last night, the chairman showed up, and was so gracious, staying long after signing autographs and taking pictures with the kids.
